In honor of Memorial Day, Purdy Brothers & Loudon County Trucking attended the second annual Memorial Day cookout to thank veterans for their service and raise funds for a good cause. The cookout was organized by the Arconic Veteran’s employee resource group (ERG).
The event was attended by more than 70 employees and raised nearly $400 for New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center, which provides support to children who are victims of abuse or trauma.
On May 27, Veteran’s ERG members joined the Boy Scouts to place flags at the National Cemetery in Knoxville. Special thanks to the Arconic employees and their family members for honoring our veterans.
